Counselor Selection Process

HARRISBURG AREA CONFIRMATION CAMP 2008 COUNSELOR SELECTION PROCESS

The following guidelines and deadlines should assist you as you prepare your youth for the counselor selection process.

1. Deadline for applications is March 1, 2008.

2. All applicants must submit a fully completed Counselor Registration Form 2008.

3. All applicants who have never served as a HACC counselor must submit at least one Counselor Recommendation Form from an adult leader (Paster, Youth Director, etc.) from their congregation.

4. All applicants must complete BOTH the Voluntary Disclosure Form and the Risk and Release Waiver Form prior to consideration as a counselor applicant.

5. All counselor applicants are required to include their full registration fee of $115.00 at the time of application to the process. Checks should be made payable to Harrisburg Area Confirmation Camp. Those applicants not selected to serve as a counselor for the 2008 camp will be refunded the entire registration fee amount following the completion of the selection process.

Those applicants who do not submit their registration fee and all completed forms listed above prior to the selection process can not be guaranteed consideration as a counselor applicant during the selection process.

7. All forms and fees should be received by March 1, 2008.

8. The counselor selection process will be completed by March 30, 2008.
